SATOPANTH LAKE TREK WITH SWARGAROHINI TREK

SATOPANTH YATRA...The lake of divinity

With its crystal clear green water situated a height of 4,402M the triangular lake has a perimeter of one kilometer .on its three corners meditated the holy Trio-Brahma , Vishnu and Mahesh(shiva) and still do,it is believed -the creater, preserver and Destroyer charting out the course of the world. The lake , the representation, on earth,of the Kshirsagar is set in the midst of yawning glaciers with a splendor undreamt by men, with the presence of the divine trinity and the smear magnificence of the setting one is left completely overwhelmed.

On the holy day ekadashi, Hindus believe that lord Vishnu himself, takes a bath in the lake . to this lake . it is only the place where all these gods are present all together , the presence of "divine trinity " at this place makes it a sacred place of worship for the Hindu devotees . Bathing in this on the 11 days of the solar and lunar fortnights is considered most auspicious. Many devout pilgrims visit this lake on this every day......

ITINERARY OF SATOPANTH LAKE TREK

Day 1): Arrival Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi international airport met our representative and transfer to hotel.

Day 2): Delhi to Rishikesh
Transfer to the Rishikesh(227 km) to reach Rishikesh. Stop at Haridwar for sightseeing of Ganga Ghats & Temples then proceed to Rishikesh. Arrive & check in at the hotel. Evening free to explore the area. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03): Rishikesh to Joshimath
Rishikesh to Joshimath (land of Adi guru Sankaracharya) Morning after breakfast drive (257 km) down to reach Joshimath .Evening free O/N stay at Joshimath.

Day 04): Joshimath - Badrinath
Morning drive (45km) up to reach Badrinath ji , temple visit and you can take a holy dip in hot water spring at Tapta kund, dinner and over night stay at Badrinath.

Day 05): Badrinath - Jhamtoli 3640m
Morning after break fast trek to Jhamtoli (8km) with pack lunch, dinner and over night stay at camp.

Day 06): Jhamtoli to Chakratirtha (4240m) (7km trek)
Morning after brak fast trek up to Chakartirtha, there is large formation of glaciers which continue on to the Gaumukh snout of the Bhagirathi, dinner and over night stay at Camp.

Day 07): Chakratirtha to Satopanth lake (4465m) (3km trek)
5km trek to satopanth trek to satopanth lake Satopanth lake is a three cornered lake with icy cold, crystal clear , emerald waters with a circumference of about 1km, it is situated at an elevation of 4465m above sea leave. It is known the world over for its strange beauty and serene heavenly like pleasant surrounding.

Day 08): Satopanth lake to Laxmivan (3650m)
Morning after pooja, aarti, trek back to laxmi van

Day 09): Laxmi van to Badrinath (9km trek)} - Joshimath
Morning early breakfast and trek down to Badrinath, Here you will be greeted by vehicles waiting in to take you back to Joshimath, Dinner & over night at Joshimath.

Day 10): Joshimath to Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast drive (257 km) down to reach Rishikesh. Evening free for sightseeing.

Day 11): Rishikesh drive to Delhi.  Drive 6hours.  Trip end up here.

Option Two :: Satopanth Lake Trek Haridwar to Haridwar

Day 1 (Haridwar - Joshimath)
After Early Breakfast Drive From Haridwar to Joshimath. Night stay at Lodge.

Day 2 (Joshimath - Badrinath)
Next Day Drive from Joshimath to Badrinath , one of the famous dham of Hindu Religion. Visit Badrinath Night Stay at Badrinath

Day 3 (Mana - Bandhar) 13 kms
On Day three we will Star our Trek towards Bandhar, in the midst you will see Mana the Last Indian Village before Tibet Border. there is a Waterfall Called Vasudhara, which is known as a holy waterfall which will wash your sins according to the Hindi Scriptures.

Day 4 (Bandhar to Satopant - 13 kms)
The trail was through bolder zones. You will cross the Sahasra Dhara and the Neelkanth Base Camp on our way. Specifically, there is no trail, you just have to make your own way with the Guide. You will see the Alakapuri glacier, which is the source of Alakananda river.

Day 5 (Satopant-Swargarohini)
You will see Som Kund and the Snow Fall on Swargrohini

Day 6 (Satopanth Tal to Chamtoli)
Chamtoli is Basically a Bugyal

Day 7 (Chamtoli - Mana- Badrinath)
Now We will Trek Back to Mana then Drive back to Badrinath , Night stay at Badrinath.

Day 8 (Badrinath- Haridwar)
Early morning after Breakfast e will Drive Back to Haridwar where leaving the Hills Behind.
